As the new year rolled in, I had the opportunity to photograph the annual Polar Plunge hosted by the Young Professionals Alzheimer's Association of Colorado. This was my first opportunity to photograph this event and we had beautiful weather, if a little cold. It was actually warmer in the water than out! (Not that I got in, maybe next year.)
Despite the cold, over 500 people came out to support a good cause and everyone had fun.
One of the goals many had was to reach out and touch the thick ice of the reservoir (thick enough to hold a car!).
